Santa Clarita's sister city Tena has recently suffered serious damage from rainfall.

The city in the Amazon rainforest of Ecuador, five hours by bus from Quito, has endured destroyed and damaged homes from flooding and mudslides.

To make a donation to help, send a check marked "Tena Relief" to the Santa Clarita Valley International Program (at City Hall), 23920 Valencia Blvd., Santa Clarita 91355.

All funds received will be administered by SCVIP board members traveling to Tena at their own expense.
