Skincare firm Kiehl's is set to launch a limited-edition collection in time for Earth Day (April 22nd) which will support the Rainforest Alliance.

The company has given the packaging for its Acai Damage Protecting Toning Mist a rainforest-friendly redesign, with some of the labels hand-drawn by schoolchildren living in the Brazilian Amazon.

Other labels for the Ecocert-certified organic collection have been designed by musician Pharrell Williams, artist Jeff Koons and actress Julianne Moore.

Kiehl's has pledged that net proceeds from the sale of the limited-edition skincare product will be donated to the Rainforest Alliance to support its efforts around the globe.

Tensie Whelan, president of the Rainforest Alliance, commented: "Kiehl's generous commitment ... will help the Rainforest Alliance bring sustainable forestry, agriculture and tourism practices to communities around the globe."

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who is from the Brazilian city of Horizontina, has recently launched a new skincare range which aims to promote care for the planet and protection of rainforests.
