La Selva Jungle Lodge is located deep in Ecuador's primary Amazon rainforest and offers guests massages and footbaths, as well as a "magical dusting away of evil spirits with special leaves" performed by indigenous people.
Guests also have the opportunity to receive a "rainforest shower", which includes organic herbs that have been brewed and cooled to a warm temperature.
Energising drinks, which contain noni and acai berries, are also served, alongside an array of tropical fruits freshly prepared from the lodge's kitchen.
Organisers say the resort is a sustainable way to provide work for native rainforest dwellers and help them supplement their livelihoods.
Profits made by La Selva are also distributed among indigenous people through the Helping Hands in the Forest foundation.
La Selva has been running since 1986 and claims to offer one of the most unique wildlife experiences throughout South America.
