A new DVD release shows the making of a movie heavily influenced by the rainforest habitat of the Amazon.
The indigenous community of Pandora, the Na'vi tribe, fight against the oil firm try and protect the precious trees and wildlife of their planet.
The on-screen world is heavily based on the rainforest and now, a new release gives viewers the chance to see how the film was made.
In the 22-minute film, which has been released by Yahoo!, film fans can see the stars of the movie, including Sigourney Weaver and Michelle Rodriguez, taking a trip to a rainforest habitat in Hawaii so their reactions to landing on Pandora in the movie would be realistic.
Avatar is one of the favourites to scoop the award for best film at this year's Oscars.
